CHIMEI
also known as (CMV) LCD monitors, which are
designed and produced by Chi Mei Optoelectronics
Corp, also known as CMO. CMO is currently ranked
number four LCD panel manufacturer in the world
with more than 30 million pieces of LCD panels
produced in year 2006 for used on both LCD
monitors and LCD TVs. Since year 2006, some
models of Sony and Samsung LCD TVs are adopting
CMO's 32" and 42" LCD panels, and
there are more and more major brands using CMO
LCD panels.
CHIMEI
has been dominating in ABS (plastic material)
for over 40 years as the number one manufacturer
in the world. It is also currently ranked the
world number four in LCD panel manufacturing.
CHIMEI produces the LCD monitors by using its
own LCD panels, backlight, and all sorts of
components to ensure the best quality with
competitive price. CHIMEI also does OEM for
other famous brands such as Samsung, Dell, View
Sonic and Acer as a proof of world leading
quality.
CHIMEI
is currently producing LCD panels from the size
of 17" to 46" in its five factories
located in southern Taiwan, and is setting up
its 7.5- and 8-generation factory with further 3
billion US dollars invested. CHIMEI LCD monitors
are account for 10% of the total LCD markets,
and is currently the biggest supplier for the
22-inch wide screen LCD monitor in Australia.
Currently,
Chimei products are distributed and serviced by
Protac International Computers. Sales and
services are offered through out all states in
